Our Philosophy

At The Apple Tree Preschool King Campus’s Nature Preschool Program , we believe that children are inherently curious, competent, capable, and full of potential. Our approach blends early childhood education with environmental stewardship, allowing children to develop social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills while connecting deeply with nature. We prioritize child-led, play-based learning, where each child’s interests guide the experiences, we create.

Learning

We are constantly educating our staff through seminars and professional development and industry networking opportunities to maintain the highest level of pre-school education that nurtures each child’s individual learning potential.

Our methods are exemplified in the activities we do with the kids in the fields of Art, Science, Movement, Music, Outdoor Play, Sensory activities (smell, sight, feel) and practical life skills.

Each day, you will receive feedback on your child’s day so that you are kept updated on how and what they did that day, how much they ate, and what their mood was like. Also, often your child will be taking with them a “home version” of a story or song we talked about during the day, so that you can repeat it with them at home.
